Mary Walker’s Kyle Verhaag is a 3 year member of the varsity football team and a 2 year member of the varsity basketball team.  Kyle reported that 5 wrestlers are on their way to state along with other happenings around Mary Walker.  Math is his favorite subject and he hopes to attend college when he has the necessary finances.  Lynn noted in his introduction of Kyle that his sister, Kassandra, a former member of the Springdale Interact Club went to Ecuador with the group and also went to RYLA.
 
Lysandra Gonzalez, a senior at Riverside HS has enjoyed and participated in every sport available during her time in school. She has now narrowed it down to basketball and volleyball and has been a 3 year varsity member in both.  As might be expected, her favorite class is PE.  In addition to school, Lysandra works at the Ram Drive-In near the school.  She would like to attend Whitworth and has applied for a scholarship there.  She would like to pursue a future in health or nutrition.
 
Deer Park’s Josh Ruygrok is Senior Class President, National Honor Society treasurer, a member of DECA, Key Club and the varsity baseball team.  After graduation Josh would like to pursue a business degree and has applied to the University of Oregon, San Diego University and University of Southern California.  He would like to attend USC and is hoping to hear from them soon.
