Riverside's September Student of the Month is Ben Shaw. Ben is Student Body President and is a 12 year student.  He is a cross country runner and placed second in the state.  Ben ran for ASB treasuer as a 7th grader and has been involved in ASB ever since. He's very proud of the student body and the work they do with their annual Thanksgiving dinner for the community as well as the great Veteran's Day event each year with guest speakers.  He likes the small size of the school which allows him to know everyone either by name or by face.
Tyson Lim is Deer Park High School's Student of the Month. He is also Student Body President at Deer Park and is a great student and citizen.  Tyson has been a running back in football for 3 years, played tennis for 2 years and track for 1 year.  When he's not playing sports, he's cheering on and supporting those who are.  Sports has allowed him to meet new people and make friends. Tyson will serve in a mission after completing high school
